Vietnam’s "Youth Online" reported on November 25 that on November 25, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Vietnamese Government Le Wencheng signed the Prime Minister’s Directive for the implementation of strict and synchronized measures for the prevention and control of African swine fever
    .
At present, the development situation of African swine fever in Vietnam is complicated.
It has appeared in 2275 communes in 57 provinces and cities, and the total number of forced culling of pigs exceeds 230,000, which is three times that of the same period last year and accounts for about 0.
8% of the total pig inventory
    .

Feng Dejin, deputy director of the Vietnam Veterinary Administration, predicts that the number of infected pigs that must be destroyed will reach 300,000 from now to the end of the year
    .

The Prime Minister's directive pointed out that there is a risk of large-scale spread of the epidemic, which will have a huge negative impact on the animal husbandry industry, affecting the production and operation activities and food supply and demand of many enterprises, cooperatives, and farmers
    .

In order to prevent and control African swine fever in a timely and effective manner, and to ensure the Spring Festival and future pork supply, the Prime Minister asked all ministries, commissions and local governments to concentrate their efforts to cut off the infection chain of the epidemic and not allow new "epidemic nests" to appear
    .
Guidance functional departments strictly monitor people and vehicles from countries affected by African swine fever at border ports and passages, and strictly investigate various violations
