OBJECTIVE: Over the years , research on structural damage in axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) has focused on assessing radiographic spinal progression as one of the main determinants of function and spinal mobility
Research on structural injury for many years has focused on assessing radiographic spinal progression as one of the main factors in determining function and spinal mobility
We included patients from the German spondyloarthritis initial cohort who had at least one sacroiliac joint radiograph at baseline and during follow - up
In total, 301 axSpA patients ( 166 non-imaging [nr-axSpA] and 135 radiographic [r-axSpA] ) contributed 737 imaging intervals .
TNFi is associated with a reduction in radiographic sacroiliitis progression in axSpA patients .
