Objective: The pathogenesis of cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) is multifactorial, and CLE is difficult to treat due to the heterogeneity of the inflammatory process among patient.
Objective: The pathogenesis of cutaneous lupus erythematosus (CLE) is multifactorial, and CLE is difficult to treat due to the heterogeneity of the inflammatory process among patient.
Methods: We performed image-quality flow cytometry on 48 treatment-naïve skin biopsies from HCQ responders, QC responders, and non-responders (NR) to analyze multiple immune cells in the native environment of CLE skin types and inflammatory marker.
Results: HCQ responders showed increased CD4 T cells compared to Q.
Conclusions: These findings demonstrate that the immune composition differs between CLE patients and guide a future based on precision medicine and treatment respons.
