Recently, the Hebei Provincial Food and Drug Administration issued an announcement that according to the relevant provisions of the "Internet Drug Information Service Management Measures", after review, Hebei Haishengtang Pharmacy Chain Co.

It is reported that this is the 13th batch of "Internet Drug Information Service Qualification Certificate" issued by the Hebei Provincial Drug Administration since June this year.

"Internet Drug Information Service Qualification Certificate" refers to the service activities of providing drug (including medical device) information to online users through the Internet, which is divided into two types: business and non-business: business Internet drug information services refer to Internet users through the Internet.

Applications for the provision of Internet drug information services should use a website as the basic unit

The qualification certificate is approved by the local Provincial Food and Drug Administration.

Multiple pharmacies application

In addition to Hebei Province, Hubei, Yunnan, Tianjin and other places have issued multiple batches of "Internet Drug Information Service Qualification Certificates" this year, and many pharmacies have applied for them

The Hubei Provincial Drug Administration issued 3 batches of online drug information service qualification approval, renewal, alteration, and cancellation announcements this year.

As of September, the Yunnan Provincial Food and Drug Administration has also issued 12 issues of the "Internet Drug Information Service Qualification Certificate" approval information.

Tianjin has issued 21 issues of the "Internet Drug Information Service Qualification Certificate" approval announcement this year, involving companies such as Zhengxin Pharmacy, Kangmei Pharmacy, and Dingdang Smart Pharmacy

Application conditions

To apply for the provision of Internet drug information services, in addition to meeting the requirements set out in the "Internet Information Services Management Measures", the following conditions should also be met:

(1) Internet drug information service providers shall be enterprises, institutions or other organizations established in accordance with the law;

(2) Having professionals, facilities and related systems suitable for the development of Internet drug information service activities;

(3) There are two or more pharmacy and medical device technical personnel who are familiar with the laws and regulations on the management of drugs and medical devices, as well as the professional knowledge of drugs and medical devices, or who have been qualified in accordance with the law

To apply for the provision of Internet drug information services, one should fill in the "Internet Drug Information Service Application Form" uniformly issued by the State Food and Drug Administration, and submit an application to the food and drug administration department of the province, autonomous region, or municipality where the website host is located, and submit the following materials at the same time :

(1) A copy of the business license of the enterprise

(2) Relevant certificates or supporting documents for website domain name registration

(3) Instructions for setting up website columns (websites applying for commercial Internet drug information services need to provide descriptions of charging columns and charging methods)

(4) The relevant management system and implementation status of the website for backing up and consulting historically released information

(5) The methods and operating instructions for the food and drug supervision and administration department to browse all the columns and contents on the website online

(6) A copy of the academic qualification certificate or a copy of the professional and technical qualification certificate of the professional and technical personnel related to medicines and medical devices, and a copy of the ID card and resume of the person in charge of the website
