2020 National Science and Technology Award List Released (Medical)

On November 3, the 2020 National Science and Technology Awards Conference was grandly held in Beijing.

According to the "Regulations on National Science and Technology Awards", reviewed by the National Science and Technology Awards Review Committee, approved by the National Science and Technology Awards Committee and reviewed by the Ministry of Science and Technology, the State Council approved and submitted to President Xi Jinping for signature, and awarded to Academician Gu Songfen and Academician Wang Dazhong the highest national science and technology Award; approved by the State Council, 46 national natural science award projects, including: 2 first prizes, 44 second prizes; 61 national technological invention awards, including: 3 first prizes (1 general project, 2 special projects), 58 second prizes (43 general projects, 15 special projects); 157 national science and technology progress awards, including: 2 special prizes (2 special projects), 18 first prizes (10 general projects, 7 special projects, 1 innovation team), 137 second prizes (110 general projects, 27 special projects); awarded to 8 foreign experts and 1 international organization People’s Republic of China International Science Technical cooperation award
