afternoon of December 23, 2014, the "12th Five-Year Plan" National Science and Technology Support Program "Public Health Knowledge and Technology Screening and Evaluation Research" interim report will be held in China Science and Technology Hall. Liu Yadong, Vice Minister of Science and Technology of the Chinese Association of Science and Technology, Zhang Zhaofeng, Director of the Biopharmaceutical Division of the Department of Social Development science and Technology of the Ministry of Science and Technology, and Professor Li Dakui, Head of Project Technology, attended the meeting. Chairman Yang Yuxin of the Chinese Nutrition Society attended and participated in the discussion as a member of the topic leadership group.
Nutrition Society of China, as one of the subject-bearing units, is responsible for the management and implementation of the fifth topic, "Research and application of technology for the prevention of chronic diseases in balanced diet sports fitness". At the meeting, the subject leader Chang Cuiqing made a systematic and detailed summary report on the research progress and the stage results achieved in the past two years. The Chinese Academy of Nutrition, together with the Chinese Academy of Sports Science, strictly follows the research plan, completes the research tasks on time, and exceeds some of the project objectives, ensuring that the project tasks are completed on time next year. Other subject-bearer units also reported on the progress of research on each subject in turn. Director Zhang Zhaofeng and the head of the Science and Technology Department of the Association of Science and Technology gave full recognition to the implementation and research results of the six topics of "Public Health Knowledge and Technical Screening and Evaluation Research", and also put forward requirements and suggestions, hoping that the subject-bearer units can grasp the bright spots, standardize management, ensure the smooth conclusion of the issue and prepare for the declaration of the "13th Five-Year Plan" National Science and Technology Support Plan.
Subsequently, the leaders and invited guidance experts also discussed the sustainable development of public health knowledge and technology screening and evaluation research, the formation of the Alliance for the Popularization of Public Health Science and Technology Knowledge and the continuing deepening of public health science and technology research during the 13th Five-Year Plan period.
Liu Yadong summarized the meeting. He pointed out that the "Public Health Knowledge and Technology Screening and Evaluation Research" project was supported by the Chinese Association of Science and Technology after successfully completing the "11th Five-Year Plan" National Science and Technology Support Program Key Project "Public Health Popularization Technology Screening and Evaluation Research", and again received funding from the "12th Five-Year Plan" National Science and Technology Support Program. Project undertaker units should be bold in innovation, actively mobilize the national medical and health field of science (association) and social forces, for the community to carry out popular science activities, the establishment of public health knowledge evaluation and screening system, training in the field of health science and technology personnel, the introduction of excellent health science products, improve public health science literacy.
