    According to the official website of the Russian Federal Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Supervision (Rosselkhoznadzor), data from the bureau's phytosanitary station shows that since March 2022, a total of more than 1,700 tons of fresh fruits and vegetables have been exported from China to Russia's Transbaikal region .
     
    Vegetables accounted for nearly 98% of all fresh fruits and vegetables exported, including 712.

    The staff of the Russian Federal Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Supervision took more than 280 samples from these fruits and vegetables for inspection, and found mulberry scale insects, a type 1 quarantine pest, in 4 samples

    After completing the phytosanitary control procedures, the Russian side released all fruit and vegetable products

    It is understood that since the beginning of 2022, more than 10,000 tons of fruits and vegetables from China have been exported to Russia through the Transbaikal Plant Quarantine Station
