Recently, Yanshan Petrochemical has applied the new hydrogen adjustment method to directly produce melt-blown special materials on the polypropylene plant, and successfully tested it on its newly-built melt-blown cloth production line, successfully producing melt-blown non-woven fabrics

According to reports, the new technology simplifies the production procedures and adopts large equipment for production.

On February 9, 2020, Yanshan Petrochemical received an instruction from Sinopec Group Corporation to resume the production of special meltblown materials as soon as possible, and to take the supply of raw materials for mask production as the top priority

However, the problem of insufficient production capacity caused by technical limitations of traditional melt-blown special materials by degradation method still seriously restricts the production of melt-blown non-woven fabrics

At present, Yanshan Petrochemical's 4 meltblown nonwoven production lines have all achieved mass production, with a daily production capacity of 12 tons of meltblown nonwovens, which can provide key raw materials for 12 million medical flat masks
