In order to lower the "threshold" for enterprises to operate across regions, the Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Market Supervision issued the "Notice on Further Clarifying the Supervision of Food Business Licenses for Automatic Vending" (hereinafter referred to as the "Notice"), breaking the limitations of territorial regions and implementing "one certificate".

"Multiple automatic vending equipment of the same vending operator only needs to apply for one food business license within the whole city of Xiamen, which will effectively reduce the quasi-operating cost of the industry

The "Notice" also clarifies that due to food safety issues, consumers can complain to the market supervision department where the vending machine is set up, or to the market supervision department where the vending machine is licensed.

Considering the particularity of health food, the "Notice" also clearly requires market supervisors to check whether the licensed business items include health food sales and whether they are set up in the automatic vending equipment when supervising and inspecting the automatic vending equipment that sells health food.
