The Wuhan Botanical Garden System Ecology Research Team of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and the team of Professor Wan Bo from the School of Geography and Information Engineering of China University of Geosciences carried out the research on remote sensing of tea trees by UAV, and explored the effectiveness of UAV remote sensing in monitoring tea tre.
This study takes Huashan Tea Garden in Wuhan as the research area, and evaluates the performance of UAV lidar and stereo-pair point cloud data with different point cloud densities in identifying the area of tea tree picki.
The above research was completed by Zhang Qingfan (first author) and assistant researcher Wang Dezhi (corresponding author) in Wuhan Botanical Garden under the guidance of researcher Zhang Quanfa and Professor Wan .
