Nordson EFD (Nordson EFD), a Nordson company and manufacturer of precision fluid dispensing systems, has introduced a new line of Optimum® ECO dispensing accessories, including syringe barrels, pistons, end caps and tip plugs, using sustainable materials

The new Optimum ECO dispensing accessories are injection molded from bio-based polyethylene resins that are up to 96% derived from sugar cane

These components have the same integrity and performance as other Optimum accessories, and use the same rigorous manufacturing quality standards to produce consistent Optimum ECO accessories that deliver repeatable fluid dispensing while reducing waste

"With the release of Optimum ECO, our goal is to reduce our company's environmental impact," said Mark O'Shea, global product line manager, Dispensing Accessories, Nordson EFD

We want to be the first in the market to provide customers with disposable consumable products that replace traditional raw materials without sacrificing quality or performance

These assemblies are used in precision fluid dispensing applications in multiple industries to produce a wide range of products
