Vietnam's "Vietnam Express" reported on April 26 that in the first quarter of this year, Vietnam's rice exports to Russia increased by 2.
6 times year-on-year, which is the largest increase in the 23 categories of goods exported to Russia
    .

According to statistics from the General Administration of Vietnam Customs, Vietnam’s exports to Russia in the first quarter of this year amounted to US$543.
    8 million, a year-on-year decrease of 29.
    11%
    .

Of the 23 categories of goods exported to Russia, about 8 categories of goods grew strongly
    .
Among them, rice exports increased the most, about 2.
6 times that of the same period last year, reaching US$553,239
    .
It was followed by rubber, which rose 60.
    21% to more than $7.
    2 million
    .
Commodities such as steel products, machinery, equipment, coffee also increased by 4%-40% year-on-year
    .

The export of these products has achieved considerable results, mainly due to increased consumption in Russia, coupled with the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, which made it difficult for other suppliers to export to Russia
    .

However, many Vietnamese companies said the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict and Western sanctions policies made export activity more difficult in the second quarter
    .

Therefore, exporters to Russia have to reconsider
    .
Import and export enterprises pay close attention to the new regulations of Russian banks to ensure smooth trade payment and avoid the phenomenon that the payment for goods is difficult to recover
