Vietnam seizes opportunities to export fruits and vegetables to China

Vietnam's NDO reported on July 20 that the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the General Administration of Customs of China signed the Protocol on Phytosanitary Requirements for Durian Exported to Chin.
Previously, the General Administration of Customs of China has approved in writing to officially pilot the import of passion fruit from Vietnam by normal trade from July 202

Therefore, all planting areas, durian and passion fruit packaging companies exporting to China need to be registered with the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and approved by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam and the General Administration of Customs of Chi.
Registration information includes name, address and code to allow accurate traceability when non-compliant products are fou.

Passion fruit and durian are two fruits with high economic value and two dominant crops in parts of Vietn.
Passion fruit is a fruit of interest to many markets, both fresh and process.
China is Vietnam's largest fresh durian consumption mark.
Especially in Dak Lak province, on average, more than 70% of the durians are exported to the Chinese market in small trade every ye.
Therefore, it is a good opportunity for the above-mentioned two kinds of fruits to be opened to China for export to Chi.
