Recently, Sinopec's scientific research project "Research on Key Technologies of Oilfield Energy Optimization Management and Control" undertaken by the Energy Monitoring Station of Shengli Oilfield Technology Testing Center has passed the appraisal of an expert group organized by the Ministry of Science and Technology of Sinopec
As a national key energy production enterprise, Shengli Oilfield is also a major energy consumption and greenhouse gas emitter
After three years of technical research, the center invented reasonable energy consumption calculation methods related to reservoir attributes based on the process characteristics of the oilfield production system and the different energy use factors, created a simulation platform for energy-saving technology evaluation, and studied the use of production systems under the information platform.
The breakthrough in the key technologies of oilfield energy optimization management and control has realized the upgrade of the entire chain of energy management and control technology, which provides technical support for oilfield companies to achieve efficiency and stable production, "dual-carbon" strategy, and create green and low-carbon competitiveness, and play a leading role in the industry.
The further promotion and application of the research results will promote the upgrading of oilfield energy management system technology, promote the advancement of oilfield energy-saving technology, create a technological leader for the group company, achieve carbon peaks and carbon neutrality, and provide new energy-saving and emission-reduction tools
