Vestas announced that it has secured a 31 MW order to supply and install nine V117-3.
45 MW wind turbines
for an undisclosed project in Italy.
The project won the bid
at its latest auction in Italy in November 2016.
Since 2012, Vestas has exceeded 1 GW of orders at four auctions in Italy since 2012, highlighting the company's leadership in the country

Delivery of the turbines is expected in the last quarter of 2018, with commissioning
planned for the second quarter of 2019.
