Uzbekistan World News Agency on October 7, October 4-7, Ukrainian Minister of Innovation and Development Abdurrahmanov led a delegation to Cairo, Egypt to participate in the 7th World Cotton Research Conference (WCRC).

Abdurahmanov was elected as an advisor
to the International Association of Cotton Scientists (ICRC).
It was decided that the next Congress would be held
in Uzbekistan in 2024.

It is understood that the World Cotton Research Conference and the International Association of Cotton Scientists are both initiated and established by the International Cotton Advisory Committee (ICAC), headquartered in Washington, D.
C
.
The International Association of Cotton Scientists aims to promote global collaboration in cotton research and host the World Cotton Research Conference
.
China is also a member of the association, and Dong Hezhong, director of the Shandong Cotton Research Center, serves as a member of
the association.
