    Introduction: This report is a summary of the reports of exporters from 15 to 21 February 2002 [wheat] net sales of 231700 tons, 30% lower than last week, 50% lower than the average of four weeks The main growth countries are Mexico (69500 tons), Egypt (56500 tons), Nigeria (43200 tons) and Spain (41000 tons), with some of the growth offsetting the decrease in unknown destinations (41000 tons) The export volume was 499200 tons, an increase of 17 percentage points over last week and 14 percentage points over the four week average The main objectives are Mexico (106800 tons, including the later reported 29600 tons), Nigeria (86800 tons), Japan (67000 tons), Spain (50000 tons), South Korea (48400 tons), and Italy (47700 tons) [corn] net sales of 806300 tons, 31% lower than last week, 26% lower than the four week average The main growth countries and regions are Japan (310800 tons), Mexico (130700 tons), Israel (80900 tons), Syria (67800 tons), Taiwan (56800 tons) and South Korea (54000 tons), partially offset by a decrease in unknown destinations (152700 tons) Exports were 926900 tons, down 6 percentage points from last week and up 14 percentage points from the four week average The main destinations are Japan (305500 tons), Israel (115300 tons), Syria (97800 tons), Colombia (63800 tons), Taiwan (59800 tons), and Mexico (54000 tons) [barley] net sales were 6900 tons, down 19 percentage points from last week The importing countries are the UK (5800 tons) and Canada (1100 tons) Exports of 8200 tons decreased by about 33 percentage points from last week and 7 percentage points from the four week average Destinations are the UK (5800 tons), Mexico (2000 tons), and Canada (400 tons) [Sorghum] net sales of 56300 tons, down 57 percentage points from last week, down 42 percentage points from the four week average The importing countries are Mexico (48500 tons), Japan (6800 tons) and Israel (1000 tons) Exports of 80400 tons, down 44 percentage points from last week, down 45 percentage points from the four week average Destinations are Mexico (55400 tons), Japan (16000 tons), and Israel (9000 tons) [rice] net sales of 95600 tons, 3.6 times that of last week, about 2.3 times the four week average The main importers are Japan (82700 tons), Mexico (8400 tons), Nicaragua (6700 tons - from unknown destination), El Salvador (4400 tons - from unknown destination), and the Republic of South Africa (2800 tons) The countries and regions that decreased were unknown destinations (10900 tons) and Saudi Arabia (1700 tons) The export volume is 78900 tons, 38 percentage points higher than last week and 82 percentage points higher than the four week average The main destinations are Mexico (20800 tons), Cuba (13400 tons), Japan (13100 tons), Nicaragua (6900 tons), and Saudi Arabia (6500 tons) [soybean] net sales were 350900 tons, 11 percentage points less than last week, 9 percentage points lower than the four week average The main growth countries are the Netherlands (135700 tons), Spain (131300 tons), China (119200 tons), South Korea (100200 tons), Japan (85200 tons), and Indonesia (66600 tons), partially offset by a decrease in unknown destinations (387500 tons) 25000 tons of 2002 / 03 delivery soybeans were sold to South Korea Exports were 1144700 tons, down 8 percentage points from last week, but 14 percentage points higher than the four week average The main destinations are the Netherlands (204700 tons), Spain (131300 tons), Belgium (121200 tons), China (119200 tons), South Korea (116200 tons), and Mexico (104300 tons) [soybean cake and meal] net sales were 105400 tons, 46 percentage points less than last week and 43 percentage points less than the four week average The main growth countries are Guatemala (46100 tons), Ireland (15000 tons), Canada (14300 tons), Russia (14000 tons), and Japan (10500 tons), partially offset by the decrease in Thailand (21700 tons) and the decrease in unknown destinations (18800 tons) The export volume was 122300 tons, down 52 percentage points from last week and 36 percentage points from the four week average The main destinations are Indonesia (39600 tons), Egypt (22000 tons), Canada (14200 tons), Dominican Republic (14100 tons), and Russia (14000 tons) [soybean oil] net sales of 26100 tons, 2% lower than last week's and four week's average, mainly imported by Bangladesh (14000 tons - transferred from unknown destination), Dominican Republic (13000 tons), South Korea (5000 tons), and Hong Kong (3000 tons) 14000 tons reduction in unknown destinations Exports of 51900 tons (the market's highest annual record), up from 2 last week 1 time, 68% higher than the four week average The main destinations are the Dominican Republic (24000 tons), Bangladesh (14000 tons), Egypt (6000 tons), and Mexico (3000 tons).
