Sinochem News, Honeywell UOP said recently that Russia's Lukoil has awarded it a contract to supply Russia's Perm refinery to convert low-value vacuum wax oil into high-value propylene and gasoline.

Honeywell said the first phase of the project will install a new vacuum distillation and catalytic cracking unit to increase the refinery's propylene production and boost gasoline production

Recently, Lukoil also signed a contract with Lummus Technologies to build a new methyl tert-butyl ether unit for the Perm refinery
