China Petrochemical News Network reported in March this year that the A and C units of the VOCs treatment project in the first workshop of Yangzi Petrochemical Water Plant were put into operation one after another, realizing the normal operation mode of two open and one standby.

In recent years, as the public’s awareness of environmental protection has continued to increase, local governments at all levels have become more stringent in environmental protection management and control, and the level of VOCs gas governance has become one of the important environmental indicators for the green development of enterprises.

The project uses a complete set of advanced technologies independently developed by Yangzi Petrochemical Research Institute.

Since the operation of the project, the removal rate of non-methane total hydrocarbons has remained above 99%, and the removal rate of benzene, toluene, and xylene is close to 100%, which is better than the design index.
