The purpose of this study is to explore the effects of pulsed electromagnetic field (PEMF) therapy on pain, disability, mental state and quality of life in patients with cervical disc protrusionrandomized patients into two groups, the first group received treatment consisting of meridian neuroelectric stimulation (TENS), thermal application (HP) and PEMF, and the second group received additional magnetic field (false magnetic field) treatment in addition to TENS and HP treatmentUse the visual simulation scale (VAS, 0-10cm) to assess painOther measures of results were function (neck pain and disability scale), anxiety and depression (hospital anxiety and depression scale) and quality of life (Nottingham Health File)All assessments were conducted at baseline, week 3 and 12 weeks after treatmentfound significant improvements in neck pain, disability, depression, anxiety, and quality of life scores in the two groups after treatment compared to pre-treatmentHowever, in the group change comparison, it was determined that only the 12 weeks after treatment VAS and the Nottingham Health Archive sleep subparameters were significantly improved compared to pre-treatmentin general, the results show that PEMF treatment for cervical disc protrusion can be safely used in general treatment in addition to conventional physiotherapy
