Trinseo announced the inauguration of its thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) testing facility in Hsinchu, Taiwan

Despite the challenges posed by project construction during the global coronavirus pandemic, the Hsinchu pilot facility started on schedule

Francesca Reverberi, vice president of Trinseo Engineered Materials and Synthetic Rubber, said: “We are very excited to launch the TPE and TPU test facility, bringing us closer to our customers in the Asia Pacific region

The pilot facility will play an important role in helping Trinseo achieve its 2030 sustainability goals

The Hsinchu site has supported Trinseo's sustainability goals with resins made by blending post-consumer recycled plastics, primarily used in consumer electronics
