TotalEnergies announced that it plans to build a recycled polypropylene (PP) production line
at its facility in Carlin, France.

When commissioned in 2024, the line will be able to produce 15,000 tons of PP compounds per year
.
The products will be made up of 100% recycled materials, including post-consumer and end-of-life vehicle waste
.

Nathalie, Senior Vice President, Total Energy Polymers "This new line will allow us to meet the growing demand for more efficient and sustainable polymers in the automotive market, in line with our goal
of producing 30% recycled polymers by 2030," Brunelle said.
Total Energy has started PP compound production at its petrochemical plant in Carlin, which was retrofitted
in 2017.
