Topsoe has announced that it will build the world's largest industrial-scale electrolyzer production plant
.
Topsoe's goal is to accelerate the adoption of the company's Power-to-X green solutions
.
The new electrolyzer production plant, to be built in Herning in the Midjylland region of Denmark, is scheduled to be operational in 2024 with an annual capacity of 5GW, making it one of the first industrial-scale production plants in the industry
.
The construction plan of the new plant will be implemented in the second half of this year after approval by the board of directors and relevant government departments
.

European Commission President von der Leyen and the leaders of Denmark, Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium have signed an agreement to increase investment to increase offshore wind capacity by 10 times by 2050

This is in line with Topsoe's goal of reducing society's carbon emissions by 12 million tonnes by 2022, Roeland Baan said
