In accordance with the country's continuous deepening of supply-side structural reforms and the promotion of high-quality development of the coal power industry, Chuanwei Chemical Company has implemented the relevant regulations of the National Development and Reform Commission and other ministries and commissions to implement ultra-low emission and energy-saving transformation work plans for coal-fired power plants, combined with corporate safety For the needs of production, energy saving, emission reduction, and optimization of the thermal power unit structure layout, Sinopec Group and Chuanwei Chemical Company have organized experts to conduct multi-party discussions and determined to implement self-provided cogeneration facilities in accordance with the principle of national equivalent capacity and coal reduction substitution.

The self-provided cogeneration project adopts a 49-megawatt steam turbine generator unit with equivalent capacity to replace 3 high-energy-consumption small units.

Since the project was completed and put into operation, the operation has been stable.
