    Recently, the journal New Phytologist published an online article entitled "The red-flesh of kiwifruit is differentially controlled by specific activation-repression systems”


    In this study, MYB10, a key regulator of anthocyanin synthesis in red-hearted kiwifruit, was screened through transcriptome analysis, and MYB110 found in red-fleshed kiwifruit was genetically transformed to obtain transgenic kiwifruit fruits, which presented red heart (MYB10) and red meat, respectively.
