Recently, Professor Lu Muwen of our school has made new progress in the research of capsaicin on glucose homeostasis regulation and its potential mechanism, and capsaicin can regulate oleic acid-induced circadian clock disturbance in HepG2 cells, and published two articles in international high-level journals.
Published a paper entitled "Modulating Effects of Capsaicin on Glucose Homeostasis and the Underlying Mechanism" in "Critical Reviews in Food Science and Nutrition" with an impact factor of 11.
This study reviewed the regulatory effects of capsaicin on glucose homeostasis in cell models, animal models and human experiments from TRPV1-dependent and TRPV1-independent pathways, and evaluated the relevant molecular mechanisms of its regulatory effects
