Recently, a collaborative research by the Institute of Agricultural Resources and Agricultural Zoning of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the China Academy of Inspection and Quarantine Science has proposed an intelligent management method of food cold chain based on the Internet of Things and blockchain , which can realize risk prediction and full traceability .

According to researcher Qian Jianping, as an important means to maintain the quality of perishable food, ensure food quality and safety and reduce food loss, the cold chain has developed rapidly in recent years

On the basis of in-depth analysis of 45 food cold chain incidents related to new coronary pneumonia in China, the scientific research team constructed an intelligent risk early warning model integrating different food cold chain temperatures and key control points of the cold chain process, and proposed a The blockchain technology framework for digital management of food cold chain has developed a prototype system consisting of cold chain environmental monitoring equipment, cold chain risk early warning model and cold chain blockchain management and traceability platform

The research was co-funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and the Innovation Project of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences
