of the Yangtze River Economic Belt.
The Sichuan-East Gas Pipeline was originally designed to have a gas transmission capacity of 12 billion cubic meters per year, and the first phase of the pressurization project has been completed as scheduled, increasing the gas transmission capacity to 15 billion cubic meters per year

As an important backbone natural gas pipeline in China, Sichuan-to-East Gas Pipeline is an important part of the "National One Network", with a total length of 2,308 kilometers, spanning eight provinces and cities
in Sichuan, Chongqing, Hubei, Jiangxi, Anhui, Jiangsu, Zhejiang and Shanghai 。 In recent years, through the interconnection and transmission enhancement and transformation projects, the Sichuan-to-East Gas Transmission Pipeline has promoted the formation of a multi-channel supply pattern composed of upstream Puguang gas field, Fuling shale gas and Yuanba gas field, and the regional gas source allocation and Sichuan gas export capacity have continued to improve, which has played a positive role
in promoting the industrial structure adjustment and energy structure optimization of the Yangtze River Economic Belt, ensuring the daily and industrial gas consumption of residents along the route, and alleviating the pressure of peak regulation in the areas along the pipeline.
It is reported that since it was put into operation in 2009, the Sichuan-to-East Gas Pipeline has transported more than 126.
8 billion cubic meters of natural gas, benefiting more than 80 cities
along the route.
