Recently, Shengli Petroleum Engineering Company Drilling Institute has successfully completed the technical service of 20-inch casing window opening in Chengbei Gu5 side drilling of Shengli Oilfield Offshore Oil Production Plant.

Chengbei Gu5 sidetrack is a sidetrack deployed by the Ocean Oil Production Plant in the Chengbei Oilfield in the Bohai Sea.

Offshore windowing operations usually use conventional tools such as 7 inches.

In order to solve the production problems of offshore oil production plants, the Shengli Engineering Drilling Institute has formulated targeted measures such as increasing the rigidity of the window repair tool assembly, extending the length of the window slope, and reducing the window steps

In the new round of integration between institutes and factories, the Shengli Engineering Drilling Institute and the Offshore Oil Production Plant conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on integrated reservoir protection technology, logging process reservoir protection technology, and offshore engineering technology cooperation
