    On October 24th, the research team of Academician Li Yu and Professor Wang Qi from the Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education of the Engineering Research Center for Edible and Medicinal Fungi, Jilin Agricultural University, made important progress in the field of poplar and Phellinus sibiricum.


    This study puts forward for the first time "the chemical characteristics of the isolated polysaccharide components of the poplar Phellinus sibiricum, and studies the isolated and purified components to inhibit non-small cell lung cancer, further confirming the precise structural information of the active components in the poplar Phellinus sibiricum polysaccharide".

    In the field of edible fungi, more than 50 varieties were selected and cultivated, and 6 passed the national examination; 8 key technologies such as full daylight cultivation of black fungus were innovated and improved, and the traditional cultivation mode was changed; and pollution-free black fungus, shiitake mushrooms, ganoderma, etc.


    The undergraduate major of edible fungi specialty and applied biological science (food and medicinal fungi direction) was created, and a more complete talent cultivation system of fungus science and edible fungus engineering was formed in China for the first time in China


    Integrating the subject of mycology with international standards, represented this subject at more than 30 international conferences and gave speeches at the conference, and hosted the 8th Cross-Strait Mycology Symposium, China-Japan and Pan-Asia Pacific Regional Mycology Forum, and the first The 7th and 10th International Conference on Medicinal Fungi, the 8th International Conference on Myxomycosis Systematics and Ecology, the International Conference on Economic Fungi, and the 2nd International Conference on Biodiversity in Northeast Asia, and served as the chairman of the conference


    He has published more than 600 papers in academic journals, of which 135 have been included or quoted by "SCI", and 25 books have been published
