Objective: To study the serum carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and fibrinogen / albumin ratio (FBA / ALB) in resectable gastric cancer (GC) and to study the relationship between CEA and FBA The predictive value of ratio (far) and its combination in patients with resectable gastric cancer.Introduction: in this study, carcinoembryonic antigen, fibrinogen, albumin and other clinicopathological features of resectable gastric cancer were analyzed retrospectively.univariate and multivariate Cox proportional regression model and Kaplan Meier survival curve were used to analyze the predictive role of the above laboratory indicators in the overall survival rate of patients with resectable gastric cancer.patients and methods: a total of 267 patients with resectable gastric cancer were enrolled in this study.the optimal cut-off points of CEA / fibrinogen / albumin ratio were 3.2ng/ml and 0.086, respectively.according to the cutoff value, patients were divided into three groups: cea-far = 0 (CEA & lt; 3.2 ng / ml and far & lt; 0.086), cea-far = 1 (CEA ≥ 3.2 ng / ml or far & gt; 0.086) and cea-far = 2 (CEA ≥ 3.2 ng / ml and far & gt; 0.086).results: higher cea-far scores were closely related to age, tumor size, depth of invasion, lymph node status and TNM stage (P & lt; 0.05).the overall survival rate of the three groups was significantly different (88.9%, 65.0% and 46.9%, P & lt; 0.001).multivariate regression analysis showed that cea-far was a prognostic factor for overall survival (P & lt; 0.001). ROC analysis showed that the area under cea-far curve was larger than that under CEA or far (0.683, 0.644 and 0.669, respectively).conclusion: preoperative cea-far can be used as a hematological marker to predict tumor progression and prognosis.it is suggested that gastric cancer patients with high cea-far score should be followed up closely.key words: gastric cancer, patients, survival rate, risk factors / / Defu paper video app online!
