Introduction
With the increasing attention and attention of the state and society to the environment, since December 1, 2006, the automobile manufacturing industry began to enforce clean production and coating standards, the automotive coating industry has established a variety of strict emissions. Powder coating with its utilization rate of 99%, no waste water waste gas (three waste) emissions and other technical characteristics, with obvious environmental protection and energy-saving advantages, and can greatly reduce the cost of automotive body and parts coating. To this end, we have carried out research on the application of powder coatings in car compartments.
1, powder coating process and equipment application conditions
1.1 powder coating characteristics
powder coating by resin, pigment, curing agent, additive composition, solvent-free, with obvious environmental advantages. According to different appearance, hardness, flexibility, chemical resistance, weather resistance and other performance requirements, can be applied with the corresponding performance characteristics of epoxy resin, acrylic resin, polyester resin and other systems of powder coatings.
system is hard and resilient, providing excellent mechanical properties, chemical resistance and solvent resistance, but its thermal stability, light resistance, weather resistance is poor. Polyester resin systems are highly thermally stable and weather resistant and can be used in automotive components. Acrylic resin system has a good appearance effect and excellent color preservation, can be used to prepare the car truck body exterior decorative coating.
1.2 process introduction
the use of powder coating of automobiles and their components in foreign countries have mature application cases, but there is no experience in the application of vehicles in China. Its application in automobile production mainly has 2 routes, that is, the route for body coating and parts spraying route. Wherein the body powder spraying route is as follows:
pre-treatment →electration→ drying→ weld sealing→ powder coating drying→ (160 to 180 degrees C/15min) → inspection and medium grinding→ dust removal→ powder surface spraying → drying (150 to 150 160 degrees C /8 to 10min) → strong cold → powder varnish spraying→ drying (180 to 200 degrees C, /20min) →cheging refinement→ downline
wherein for plain paint, powder varnish spray can be cancelled, if the body quality requirements are generally removed, powder coating process can be cancelled.
project is a carrier project, using automotive parts powder coating route:

wherein if the coating of metal coating is applied to the powder line cycle 2 times, that is, the first spray powder metal coating, drying and then into the surface spray line for powder varnish spraying and drying.
1.3 powder coating process conditions
1.3.1 spraying process conditions
compared to water-based paint spray room temperature humidity environment, powder spraying on temperature and humidity without strict requirements, the recommended best spraying process conditions: temperature 18 to 25 degrees C, relative humidity 40% to 60%, spray window management range is wide, as shown in Figure 1. Automatic segment wind speed of the spray chamber: 0.3 to 0.4m/s, artificial segment wind speed: 0.5 to 0.6m/s.
1.3.2 drying process conditions
