Recently, the Dutch Minister for Economic Affairs and Climate announced the roadmap for the long-term offshore wind plan for 2030, which includes a cumulative total of 7GW of new offshore wind capacity, as well as dedicated test islands
for aggregating and converting the power obtained from offshore wind turbines.

The Netherlands currently has 1GW of offshore wind capacity, which will increase to 3.
    5GW
    in 2023.
According to the development roadmap, the new wind turbines will be gradually connected to the grid at 1GW per year between 2024 and 2030
    .
At this growth rate, the cumulative installed capacity will increase to 31.
    5GW
    by 2050.

Dutch offshore wind will continue to expand, working to resolve conflicts between the fishing and wind industries, selecting and developing more new locations suitable for offshore wind development, so that companies involved in offshore wind projects have better prospects
    .
The new offshore wind farm is planned to be built west of Hollandse Kust in the Netherlands, north of the Wadden Islands and IJmuiden Ver
    .
At the same time, an artificial island will be built in IJmuiden Ver to replace the traditional offshore conversion platform, thereby better reducing costs
