Sinopec News Network reported on March 31 that the construction of the natural gas pipeline project of the South Main Line of the Shandong Pipeline Network of Sinopec Natural Gas Branch started construction.

The total length of the natural gas pipeline project on the southern trunk line of Shandong pipeline network is 490 kilometers.

The project is connected to Qingdao LNG and Longkou LNG in the east, and the Central Plains gas storage group in the west, to meet the natural gas demand of the Shandong market to the maximum extent and radiate the surrounding markets.

It is reported that the south trunk line project of Shandong pipeline network is expected to be put into operation and gas supply conditions in December 2022.
