    From SeafoodNews on December 30th, the Global Aquaculture Alliance (GSA) conducted a "change taste" survey of 3000 adult American consumers and 400 restaurant decision makers and found that 39% of consumers are seeking seafood Substitute meat products .
     
    Nearly one-third of the interviewees said that they "very" want to eat less meat products such as beef, pork and lamb.
    Instead, seafood tops the list with 39%, followed by poultry with 35 percent.

    According to this study, 46% of American consumers have a good view of retail products with the Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP) label, and 64% of consumers would choose seafood with the BAP label

    According to the GSA survey, among the catering service operators, 56% of the operators have a favorable impression of the distributors who use the BAP label

    Millennials are part of the growing trend of seafood consumption.
