Acute-on-chronic liver failure ( HBV-ACLF ) is a complex syndrome of acute liver and/or extra-hepatic organ failure that occurs on the basis of chronic hepatitis B due to various triggers, with a fatality rate as high as 50%-90%

In order to overcome the international medical problem of high fatality rate of hepatitis B, Professor Li Jun's research group from the State Key Laboratory of Diagnosis and Treatment of Infectious Diseases of Zhejiang University led 16 centers across the country to carry out a prospective, multi-center, open large cohort study, and created a large cohort study suitable for hepatitis B.

Recently, on the basis of the previous stage, the research group further used the COSSH open study large cohort and found that total bilirubin ( TB ), international normalized ratio ( INR ), alanine aminotransferase ( ALT ), and ferritin ( SF ) were predicted within 7 days .
