Italian transmission system operator Terna plans to start operating an undersea cable
connecting Montenegro with Italy on November 15, the Italian government said.
The Italian government said in a statement last week that Terna intends to launch the operation
of the submarine cable at an official ceremony attended by Italian President Sergio Matarella at the Cepagatti substation in central Abruzzo.
Terna completed the laying of the transmission cable connecting Montenegro and Italy in July this year

The €1.
15 billion project includes the interconnection between Italy and Montenegro (submarine cable), the construction and enhancement of a 400 kV network within Montenegro, and the construction
of a 400 kV overhead line between Montenegro, Serbia and Bosnia.
It is reported that the total length of the entire transmission system is 445 kilometers, of which 423 kilometers belong to submarine cables
