On May 26, the 8th National Symposium on Chemical Issues in the Field of Public Safety opened at Xi'an Institute of Modern Chemist.

The 3-day seminar, with the theme of "Collaborative Innovation to Build a New Pattern of Public Safety Chemistry", was hosted by the Public Safety Chemistry Professional Committee of the Chinese Chemical Society and undertaken by the Xi'an Institute of Modern Chemistry and the Institute of Chemical Defense of the Academy of Military Scienc.
