    China exports durians

The first batch of durians exported to China came from Krong Pac in Dak Lak Province, where 3,300 hectares of durians were planted and the annual output was 45,000-50,000 tons
    .
Dung Thai Son Import & Export Company, which was responsible for the first exports, successfully obtained the plantation code, and the workers of the packaging plant were busy sorting, labeling and packing durians
    24 hours a day.

Due to the recent discovery of many Vietnamese enterprises fraudulently using codes to try to export durians to China, the Plant Protection Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development of Vietnam held a special meeting
on "Vietnamese durians exported to China" on September 12.
The meeting aims to strengthen durian quality supervision, standardize export procedures, and comply with the provisions
of the protocol signed by both sides.

It is understood that at present, the durian planting area in Vietnam is about 85,000 hectares, but only 3,000 hectares have been approved for export to China, with an annual output of 68,000 tons
    .
A total of 51 durian plantations and 25 packaging plants have been approved in China, of which 26 plantations are harvested in September-November with a production of 13,000-14,000 tons/month
    .
But now the registered export volume of Vietnamese enterprises nationwide has reached 1.
3 million tons, far exceeding the plantation area and output
    approved by China.

Le Minh Hoan, minister of agriculture and rural development of Vietnam, said at the meeting that Vietnamese durians sold to China must establish and improve standardized and professional export procedures and comply with the provisions
of the protocols between the two countries.
In particular, it is necessary to strictly control and strictly supervise the codes of durian planting areas and packaging plants that have been approved for export to China, so as to avoid the problem of
passing off and borrowing the approved codes.
