2 billion cubic meters of gas to the five prefectures in southern Xinjiang since its "gasification of southern Xinjiang" in 1999, reducing coal-fired emissions by 60.

to optimizing the energy consumption structure of southern Xinjiang, promoting the green transformation of development mode, and helping to achieve the "dual carbon" goal.

Tarim Oilfield has accelerated the development and construction of gas fields such as Hetianhe, Kekya and Akmomu, so that the people in the resource areas can take the lead in enjoying the benefits
brought by oil and gas exploration and development.
At present, the daily supply of natural gas from Tarim Oilfield to southern Xinjiang has accounted for 1/5
of the total export volume.

In recent years, Tarim Oilfield has continuously promoted the process of "gasification of southern Xinjiang", taking the No.
1 project of PetroChina Aid to Xinjiang - the pipeline network of the Southern Xinjiang Natural Gas Benefiting Project as the link, fully promoting the construction of the Aksu-Hotan pipeline gas transmission capacity improvement project, quickly completing the Kashgar compressor station, Sancha compressor station, Zepu compressor station and other pressurized transmission projects, penetrating multiple liaison lines such as the Aksumo Station pipeline, promoting the interconnection and complementarity between the west-to-east gas transmission and the southern Xinjiang natural gas benefiting people pipeline network, and further improving the control capacity of gas supply and distribution to southern Xinjiang

Through the southern Xinjiang natural gas benefiting the people pipeline network, Tarim Oilfield has accelerated the transformation of resource advantages, continuously expanded the scale of gas supply to various prefectures in southern Xinjiang, and the scope of gasification involves 42 counties and cities and agricultural and animal husbandry farms in the five prefectures of southern Xinjiang, the number of gas supply points has increased to 73, and the number of enterprise users has exceeded 100, and as of December 20, 2022, 5.

of gas have been supplied to southern Xinjiang in 2022.

Relying on the advantages of clean and convenient natural gas resources, all prefectures in southern Xinjiang have actively promoted the landing of key petroleum and petrochemical enterprises such as Zhongtai Chemical and ethane to ethylene with the park as the carrier and platform, which has effectively pulled the "golden triangle" of new industrialization development in Korla-Luntai, Aksu-Kuqa, Kashgar-Zepu and other counties and cities, and promoted the rapid and high-quality development of
local economy.

Hotan is the first city
in Xinjiang to use natural gas for central heating.
Thanks to the advantages of the development of Hotan River gas field, Hotan has accelerated the extension of natural gas utilization to transportation, catering and other industries, and has built 18 natural gas filling stations, completed the transformation of more than 60,000 gas vehicles, and 586 natural gas boilers
with a total tonnage of 1,102 tons.
