On February 27, the official website of the Supreme People's Procuratorate issued the "Supplementary Provisions on the Implementation of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China on Determining Crimes (7)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Supplementary Provisions").
The supplementary provisions stated that the "Supplementary Provisions (7) of the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate on the Implementation of the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China on Determining Crimes (7)" has been passed and will come into force on March 1, 2021.
The supplementary provisions point out that in accordance with the "Amendment to the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China (10)" and the "Amendment to the Criminal Law of the People's Republic of China (11)," 〉The Provisions on Determining Crimes" "Opinions of the Supreme People's Procuratorate on the Application of Crimes under the Criminal Laws" are supplemented and amended as follows.
It should be noted that there are multiple crimes in the supplementary regulations that involve the field of drugs, including production, sales, and provision of counterfeit drugs, production, sales, and provision of inferior drugs, crimes of obstructing drug management, and crimes of dereliction of duty in food and drug supervision.
