On August 29, the Shanxi Methanol Economic Association was established in Taiyuan, the first in the country

Shanxi Province is a major methanol production province.

Wang Junjun, the newly elected president of the Shanxi Methanol Economic Industry Association, introduced that the association will provide a unified and standardized public service platform for the methanol industry in the province, regulate the market behavior of member units, and promote methanol production, storage, transportation, refueling, and consumption enterprises.
