China News Service, Xinjiang, April 7th (Li Ming, Li Huihui) A reporter learned from the Central Asia Gas Pipeline Horgos Metering Station on the 7th that from January to March this year, the Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline delivered more than gas to China.
The Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline is China's first transnational energy channel to introduce natural gas overland.
After entering the country, the Central Asian Natural Gas Pipeline is connected to the West-East Gas Pipeline 2 and 3 through the Horgos Compressor Station, and from Horgos all the way to the east, via Hunan, Hubei, and finally to Shanghai.
The Horgos Metering Station of the Central Asian Natural Gas Pipeline is located at the Horgos Port in Xinjiang and is the last station for Central Asian natural gas to enter China.
At the same time, personnel from China and Kazakhstan monitor the Central Asian natural gas through remote sharing methods such as video shooting and photo transmission, ensuring the compliance and smoothness of the international measurement trade transfer between the customs of China and Kazakhstan.
Data show that the Central Asia Natural Gas Pipeline was put into operation in December 2009 and has been operating safely and stably for more than 11 years.
