The Sierra Club, an environmental group in the United States, noted that if S.
B.
100 becomes law, California will join Hawaii as the only U.
S.
state
with a 100 percent renewable portfolio standard.
The director of the California Sierra Club said, "The Rocks of California and the leadership
of the California Legislature.
" Senate Bill 100 demonstrates our commitment to reducing climate and air pollution
from power generation in this state.
”

100, California's environment-related agencies have formed a coalition to support the passage of the bill
.
More than 250 organizations in the environmental, public health, labor, environmental justice, faith, business and youth communities wrote in support of Bill
S.
B.
100, the group said.
The Executive Director of the Sierra Club issued the following statement: "This is a pivotal moment
not just in California, but for the nation and the world.
Currently, California is stepping up its transition to a 100% clean energy economy
.
By 2045, one of the world's largest economies and millions of households and businesses will be powered
by 100% clean, renewable energy.
