    "Indigo, an undersea cable system connecting Australia, Singapore and Indonesia, is coming online soon," Bevan Slattery, one of the heads of the Indigo consortium, recently revealed on LinkedIn.

    The Indigo submarine cable is approximately 9,000 kilometers long and offers a capacity of 18Tbps and is designed to bring more connectivity
    to regions where internet demand is growing.
    Indigo is the second new submarine fibre optic cable system
    to cross the Perth-Singapore route, following Vocus' Australia-Singapore Cable (ASC) being completed and commissioned last September.
