Food Partner Network News from theMinistry of Public Health of Thailand on August 25:Withit Saritsadeechaikul, Deputy Secretary-General of the Food and Drug Administration of Thailand, said that the bureau reviewedthe announcement of theMinistry of Public Health on recycling plastics to produce food containers in February 2019.
On the 1st, it discussed and determined the type of recycled plastic allowed to be used in the production of food containers, namely: Polyethylene terephthalate ( PET )

Taking into account the application for the permission and safety of using recycled plastics to make food containers, the draft " Standards and Conditions forEvaluating the Efficiency of Plastic Recycling Processesand Guidelines for the Safety of Recycled Plastic Particles Used in Food Contact Materials" has been released this month.
