On February 14, 2022, the Department of Animal Husbandry Development of Thailand issued a notice on "Thailand Delays Import or TransshipmentofPoultry or Poultry Meat
from the People's Republic of China" .
The regulation stipulates the delay in importing poultry or poultry meat from China, except for poultry skins that have been certified by the Ministry of Animal Husbandry and have undergone the process of eliminating avian influenza pathogens recommended by the World Organization for Animal Health, that is, have undergone one of the following methods: 1.
At 100 degrees Celsius Wash and dry for 30 minutes; 2.
Smoke in formalin (10% formaldehyde) for 8 hours; 3.
Irradiate 20kGy
.
The regulation came into effect on February 15, 2022, and is valid for 90 days
