On February 22, Teyi Pharmaceutical issued an announcement stating that the "Sulfadiazine Tablets" "Drug Supplementary Application Approval Notice" was recently approved and issued by the State Food and Drug Administration, and the notification number: 2021B00293.

Data show that sulfadiazine is a moderately effective sulfonamide, which is effective against non-enzyme producing Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus pyogenes, Streptococcus pneumoniae, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella, Salmonella, Shigella and other Enterobacteriaceae Bacteria, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, meningococcus and Haemophilus influenzae have antibacterial effects.
