Suture needle (needle), referred to as suture, is an instrument used for suturing various tissues, which consists of
three parts: needle tip, needle body and needle tail.
Medical suture needles are mainly used for surgical sutures, requiring high-quality stainless steel exercise, the needle body can be bent many times, the needle tip sharpness is good puncture force and strength, and the needle tip needs to remain sharp
after many times through the human tissue.
Therefore, testing the strength and puncture force of the suture needle tip is one of the indicators of quality inspection, which needs to be completed
by a professional suture needle tip strength and puncture force tester 。 Inspection instrument: YFZ02-C suture needle tip strength and puncture force testerYFZ02-C suture needle tip strength and puncture force tester test steps (1) Install the fixture: First, install the fixture on the YFZ02-C suture needle tip strength and puncture force tester, and then install the suture needle on the fixture, remember to adjust the height of the loading frame, so that the distance between the fixture and the tested medical needle is closer, when moving down, the needle is pierced into the Ф5 fixture hole, and the test
is started through the touch screen display 。 (2) Turn on the power supply of YFZ02-C suture needle tip strength and puncture force tester, click "Test Parameter Settings" in the main menu interface, set the "tip type" and "needle diameter" parameters respectively, click "Save Data" after setting the parameters, and return to the main menu
.
Click "Test Parameter Settings" on the main menu interface, set the parameters for "Tip Type" and "Needle Body Diameter" respectively, and click "Save Data" after the parameters are set to return to the main menu
.
(4) Strength test: Click "Sewing needle strength puncture force test" in the main menu to enter the test interface
.
Click "Strength Test", the needle tube moves down with the force measuring mechanism, acts on the steel block, holds 5s~10s, removes the load, and then observes the sewing needle with a 5x magnifying glass, the needle tip must not have a hook, otherwise the needle tip should be dragged on the
cotton.
Do not pull out the fibers
.
(5) Puncture force test: clamp the aluminum foil of the appropriate size on the aluminum foil fixture, clamp the tip of the suture needle vertically on the upper fixture, take out the steel block, click "Test", the needle tube moves down with the force measuring mechanism, the needle tip penetrates the aluminum foil, after puncture, the force measuring mechanism moves the needle tube to the original position for the next test to improve work efficiency
.
Loosen the foil clamp and move the foil in the fixture so that the space between the perforations is greater than three times
the diameter of the suture needle.
Repeat this step 3 times to take the arithmetic mean
.
This value is the puncture force
of the suture needle.
When testing, if it is not clamped, or there are other reasons to terminate the test, you can press the stop key to stop the test and return to the main menu
.
(6) After the test, you can print the development process curve and maximum puncture force data by clicking "Print Technical Data", or you can directly enter the view report to view the test analysis results, if we need to print and click "Print Report"
.
