Recently, the Gulei Refining and Chemical Integration Project 800,000 tons/year ethylene plant cracking furnace tube of the Gulei Refining and Chemical Integration Project undertaken by the Tenth Construction Company of the Refining and Chemical Engineering Company is advancing at full speed with the highly difficult welding construction of the convection section of the cracking furnace, creating advantages for the cracking furnace to dry in advance.
It is understood that Gulei Refining & Chemical's 800,000-ton/year ethylene plant has 8 cracking furnaces.
In order to meet the requirements of high-quality and difficult welding and accelerate the welding construction of the convection section furnace tube, the project department scientifically organized and planned carefully, organized the convection section construction coordination meeting for many times, combined with the characteristics of the welding operation of the convection section of the cracking furnace, and compiled a special welding construction project.
Due to the limited working space and narrow furnace tube spacing, welders wearing safety helmets cannot complete the joint welding operation.
As of April 18, with the hard work of the project construction employees, 50% of the welding of the convection section of the cracking furnace has been completed, and the safety, quality, and progress of the entire project are under control.
